Dixon Training is at the forefront of -
Domestic Appliance Service Engineer Training and Consultancy in the United Kingdom.

Depending on the individual candidates requirements in-depth training and repair techniques are available for washing machines, dishwashers, tumble-dryers, microwave ovens and conventional electrical cooking appliances.

Candidates attending our renowned Domestic Appliance Service Engineer intensive 'Fast-Track'Course (which includes washing machines, dishwasher & tumble-dryers) have several options open to them. Many seek to work for themselves and start their own independent repair businesses, whilst others wish to gain employment within the domestic appliance service sector with companies both large and small. These include such names as Comet, British Gas, Whirlpool and Hotpoint. The choice is up to the individual and demand for service personnel has never been higher and it is on the increase.

Dixon Training also provides training for existing employees.

Training for Those leaving the Armed Forces (Resettlement Training)

For over five years Dixon Training provided the in-house Domestic Appliance Service Engineer training course at the Armed Forces Resettlement Centre in Aldershot but sadly and for reasons know only to them they no longer offer such worthwhile  training to those leaving the Services. The good news is that those who are interested in gaining such skills can opt to attend any of our intensive independent 10 day Foundation courses. Simply provide your Resettlement Advisor with our details and ask them to contact us directly.
Our training location is conveniently situated in Kingston Upon Hull East Yorkshire HU7 4HE and is easily accessible via Motorway, Rail and Air links from all areas of the country.

An Interesting Opportunity

The following will be of interest to those seeking self employment (or employment) or expanding an existing business - a new and unique opportunity has arisen which offers the opportunity of a free van - all you would need to do is to supply the fuel.

For quite some time we have been training people for a major UK repair franchise and the company has recently contacted us to offer those who attend our training course the opportunity of work experience within their organisation after they have completed their training with us.
Suitable candidates would be free to use this opportunity to gain work experience without obligation.
However, those that fit the companies requirements and locations may then be offered the chance to work in partnership with them as an agent and if they wish be provided with a free van or enter into a full franchise arrangement or in some instances be offered full employment directly with the company.
